FOR Giving Principles
Each FOR Society member has their own reasons for giving, but these are why we all give:
FOR Making A Real Impact
Some call it “not-for-profit” giving. We think of it as “for purpose”.
Each year, we will select and fund one research project that will make a real impact on how cancer is prevented, diagnosed and treated.
We all have our reasons for giving.
We’ve done the research in selecting this year’s project, but you also have the option to direct your donation to a different area at Roswell Park that is important to you. Just select ‘other’ when you make your online donation.
Cancer Genetics
Is This FOR You?
Do you want to support a cause that can make a real difference for our community, possibly even for your own friends and family?
Do you want to be more than “a donation” and have opportunities to see the impact of your support?
Has cancer affected you or a loved one in some way and want to be a part of a group that is doing something about it?
If your brain screamed “Yes!” to any of these questions, we want you to join the Future of Roswell Society!
When you contribute through the FOR Society, you are on our team.
Consider Yourself In The Know
Starting the day you join, you will receive exclusive content from Roswell Park and its blog for young adults, Project Best Life. You’ll be invited to FOR Society events, and you’ll also be plugged into our volunteer community — if you’re interested. Volunteer opportunities range from dedicating a few hours at The Ride For Roswell to opening doors for patients arriving at Roswell Park for treatment.
FOR Perks
Members are eligible to receive special donor perks for their support, such as branded gear and exclusive invitations to behind-the-scenes Roswell Park tours, member appreciation outings and networking events. Visit our Perks page for a breakout of benefits by giving level.
